• Provides outstanding guidance in aircraft transactions, taxes, and related matters, creating and negotiating all documents in compliance with the laws and regulations governing aircraft sales and purchases.

Fractional Aircraft Ownership and Sales

• Represents many fractional owners in the acquisition, leasing, renewal, reduction, assignment and repurchase of fractional aircraft interests; helping fractional owners fully understand the choices that are available in today’s fractional aircraft market. He has worked with all of the major fractional providers, and can help owners identify the best terms and enhancements available to suit their needs.

Aircraft Leasing

• In today’s ever evolving aviation market, value opportunities present themselves in leased aircraft. Mr. Perkaus can advise on aircraft selection, negotiation, documentation, compliance and delivery.

Jet Card Programs

• Depending upon the client, a jet card program may be an excellent option for private aviation travel. Mr. Perkaus has represented a number of clients, working with all of the major jet card programs, helping clients identify the best terms and enhancements available to suit their needs.

• Devising and implementing the best ownership structure for whole aircraft or fractional interest, providing expert advice, simplifying the complex task of ownership structure that will not only minimize cost, and liability exposure; but comply fully with all applicable laws and regulations.

Shared Aircraft Ownership

• Mr. Perkaus has assisted clients in drafting regulatory compliance co-ownership and joint-ownership documents as well as other shared ownership structures.

FBO, Fleet, Aircraft Charter, Management & Services Agreements

• Mr. Perkaus spent over a decade as general aviation counsel to a large Chicago area based FBO, that had a twenty-five plane managed national charter fleet which was based from New York to California. In that capacity Mr. Perkaus handled all legal issues of the aircraft charter, management, hangar, and other aviation service agreements.

• Mr. Perkaus has successfully represented both aircraft owners and charter/fleet/FBO managers for these complex transactions. His expertise representing both sides of these intricate regulatory and tax transactions, ensures smooth negotiations of all aspects of a client’s transaction.

International Aircraft Registry

• Perkaus acts as Administrator for many of his clients who possess user licenses or are required to register on the International Registry (IR). In the event that you require a user license, we will submit an application to the IR on your behalf.
